CARRYING OUT IVF IN UKRAINE DURING MARTIAL LAW

Surrogacy in Ukraine

Surrogacy in Ukraine is a service provided to couples where the woman faces medical contraindications to pregnancy and childbirth. An integral part of the surrogacy program involves the in vitro fertilization (IVF) procedure. The embryo, obtained through IVF, is implanted not in the biological mother but in the surrogate — a woman who carries and gives birth to the child but has no genetic connection to it. After childbirth, the child is handed over to the biological parents with the completion of necessary documentation affirming their parenthood.

The ICSI Clinic boasts extensive experience in planning surrogacy in Ukraine for married couples, selecting and examining surrogate mothers, monitoring their pregnancies. With a focus on providing a holistic approach to surrogacy services, the clinic ensures the seamless coordination of all aspects of the surrogacy journey, from initial planning to the successful completion of the pregnancy.

For couples seeking surrogacy solutions, the ICSI Clinic stands as a reliable and experienced partner committed to navigating the complexities of surrogacy with compassion, professionalism, and dedication to realizing the dream of parenthood.

FAQ

What is the difference between IVF and surrogacy?
In IVF, a woman who wants to become a mother carries and gives birth to a child herself. In surrogacy programmes, an embryo obtained through in vitro fertilisation is transferred to the uterus of another woman - a surrogate mother, and after the birth, the child is given to the biological parents. A surrogate mother has no genetic relationship and no legal rights to the child she carries and gives birth to.
Will the partners be the biological parents of the surrogate child?
Yes, the partners who use the SM service will be the biological parents of the child born to a surrogate mother in Ukraine. For medical reasons, donor eggs or donor sperm may be used in SM programmes, in which case only one of the partners has a genetic relationship with the child. It is not possible to use both donor eggs and donor sperm in the same time in the SM programme.
Can a child be like a surrogate mother?
A child born to a surrogate mother cannot inherit her appearance.
What are the risks of using surrogacy?
The clear regulation of surrogacy programmes at the legislative level and the conclusion of a notarial agreement virtually eliminate legal risks, while careful selection and examination of surrogate mothers, monitoring their compliance with medical prescriptions during pregnancy, minimise the risks of miscarriage.
Why choose Ukraine for surrogacy?
Ukraine is one of the countries where surrogacy services are legal, and both the clients and the women who provide them are legally protected. Reproductive medicine clinics have an extensive database of surrogate mothers. Prices for surrogacy services are quite loyal compared to most countries.
