IVF (in vitro fertilization) is the most well-known, commonly used, and effective one among the assisted reproductive technologies, which is applied when the attempts to conceive in a traditional way do not yield results. IVF is a set of measures, the components of which include obtaining an egg and sperm, conducting the fertilization outside the woman’s body (“in a test tube”), and subsequently transferring the embryo to the uterine cavity.

How the IVF Procedure Works: Stages
1.1. For “fresh” transfer – for 3-4 weeks; 1.2. For genetic diagnosis of embryos by way of PGT (NGS 24) and freezing of embryos – for 2-3 weeks + a visit for cryo-embryo transfer in 2 months or later.
A pregnancy test is performed on the 12th day after the embryo transfer.

Attention: It is possible to shorten the stay in Ukraine by 1 week in the event that the preliminary examination and the start of stimulation have been performed in the country of residence.
If the man is unable to come, his frozen sperm is forwarded to the ICSI Clinic by a specialized courier partner company.

Indications for IVF
IVF in Ukraine is performed according to medical indications, including:
- Endometriosis
- Adhesion processes of the pelvic organs in a pronounced form
- Obstruction of fallopian tubes or their absence
- Immunological, idiopathic (of unknown etiology), and mixed infertility
- Low fertilizing ability of sperm, erectile dysfunction, ejaculation
- More than 3 unsuccessful attempts of IUI in the anamnesis
- Violation of folliculogenesis and ovulation
- Reduced or exhausted ovarian reserve
If your own ovarian reserve has decreased with age, premature ovarian failure, or low-quality eggs, you can undergo an IVF program using donor oocytes.
