Benign and inflammatory formations of the external genital organs and vagina

Under local, less often general anesthesia, on an outpatient basis, operations can be performed for perineal skin formations such as papillomas, condylomas, atheromas, ingrown hairs, and genital mucosa such as cysts of the ducts of the Bartholin glands, cysts, vaginal septum, etc.

Pathology of the cervix

Under local (paracervical blockade) or general anesthesia, biopsy, reconstruction, or conization of the cervix can be performed.

Hysteroresectoscopy (HRS) of intrauterine formations

As a rule, under general anesthesia, an outpatient examination of the walls of the uterine cavity is performed using an optical device – a hysteroscope, which is inserted through the cervical canal, after its expansion. An examination can be supplemented with separate diagnostic curettage of the uterus or resection of intrauterine formations – polyps, fibromatous nodes, synechia. Removal of foreign bodies of the uterus is also performed.
